How Bioliners Work

Bioliners are most effective to correct minor crowding and relapsed alignments. The dentist must first take an impression of your teeth which is sent to the Bioliners lab for your custom inserts to be fabricated. The thermal plastic insert fits over the affected teeth, gently exerting pressure to move the teeth into the desired alignment. Unlike traditional braces or even Invisalign, Bioliners typically need to be worn for only 4-6 weeks to achieve the desired results. The device can move teeth up to 1.5 mm. Bioliners can correct minor overcrowding, spaces or gaps and crooked or rotated teeth. Bioliner treatment is completed in two stages, the first with a silicone insert and the second with a more rigid insert that completes the movement.
